ATLANTIC SEA SCALLOPS (Placopecten Magellanicus)

Sea Scallops are mainly produced in Northeast U.S. and Canada.
The largest commercially available scallop grows to about 9”. Processed
scallops are treated with Tripoli and are soaked in water. This process
increases the size and weight of the meat.
